In contrast, Fighter brought in Rs 115.30 crore during its first weekend at the box office and ended its run with a lifetime total of Rs 199.45 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama. In the meantime, the Hindi adaptation of Kalki 2898 AD made Rs 112.15 crore in its first weekend of sales and ended up earning Rs 294.25 crore in total.
Impact of major holidays in collections
Two important holidays, Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan, helped Stree 2. On Independence Day, the movie brought in Rs 76.5 crore, and on Raksha Bandhan, it brought in Rs 37 crore. The cities with the highest attendance were Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur. Due to Raksha Bandhan, Monday was a partial holiday, but Stree 2 kept up its phenomenal run. Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that on its fifth day of release, the Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor film earned Rs 38.4 crore.
In Stree 2, the main characters—who had previously unraveled the mystery surrounding the female ghost—against a new foe named Sarkata, a ghost with only a head.

The movie is a part of the horror-comedy universe created by producer Dinesh Vijan, which also features movies like Munjya and Bhediya.

Stree 2 collected $5.12 Million or Rs 42.98 Crore gross collection which is really a record breaking numbers for a Bollywood movie.
The achievement of cast
The original cast, which includes Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, returns for the follow-up to the 2018 blockbuster Stree. The first movie made Rs 129.90 crore in total revenue at the box office.
